Tri-Band Smart Wi Fi Router Review

The Linksys EA9200AC3200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router uses the Broadcom XStream 5GHz platform to push data at great speeds. It can transmit data at speeds of 1,300Mbp/s in its 5GHz bands and 600Mb/s in its 2.4GHz band. Smart Connect technology allows the router to link the two 5GHz channels together. This allows them to be used as separate networks, if desired. This router was actually in use for approximately a year. The company had enough time to refine it and helped with real-world usage.

Linksys EA9200 A3200 Tri-Band Smart WiFi Router Design and Features
The Linksys EA9200AC3200 Tri-Band Smart WiFi Router comes with six antennas. Three of them are internal, while the other three are external. They can also be removed. The antennas can be attached to a permanent base so that they remain vertical and can be positioned in the best position for sending signals down.

The Linksys EA9200's front has its logo and a bright, white LED. However, there are no activity lights on the front. Only the Linksys logo is visible. The front should have had activity lights to ensure that everything runs smoothly and without any problems.

Connectivity
The EA9200 has a 1 gigabit WAN and 4 Gigabit LAN ports. There are also 2 USB ports. Power/reset switches can be found at the back. The USB 2.0 port is used to connect to a printer. The USB 3.0 port is for attaching storage. The Wi-Fi on/off switch is located at the side. There is also a WPS connect button. These USB ports can be used to connect to a hard drive. This allows it to act as a media server or NAS. However, the USB ports cannot be used to support Apple Time Machine.

Backend
The Linksys EA9200 router is a fully-featured, fast router. It comes with parental control, guest networks, and quality after-sales service. It allows you to prioritize traffic to certain apps or devices by using drag and drop. This allows you to select three applications, devices or games to be in a "High Priority" state. You can also add games and applications manually, provided you are familiar with their port range as well as the protocol.

You can create secure guest networks and limit the number of connections with ease using the EA9200. You can use the parental control feature to block Internet access at specific times or manually block certain websites. The Linksys EA9200, like most AC routers, supports Beam Forming. This technology allows the router to amplify any signal and direct it towards a connection.
